今回の地震の件、いち早く海外にも伝えられたようですね。11日夜にお会いした上海のビジネスパーソンには、直後からインターネットでたくさんのお見舞い・励ましメールが中国から届いたとか。私のところにも、海外からのお見舞いメッセージ、アポイントのキャンセルも来ました。ヨーロッパの方は、特にチェルノブイリ事故の経験があり、敏感な反応があります。集団に属している場合、その責任者は、何の渡航禁止処置もしないことの責任追及も懸念するのでしょうね。幾つかご紹介します、表現の仕方、心配りに感激します。

My trip to Japan has been postponed further to this dramatic event as our management believes that this is not an appropriate timing to come to Japan during these difficult times for you. My apologies for that cancelation, we shall contact you again when this emergency situation has settled down.

ナンドールがいたら、すぐ東北に向かって走り出すの止めるのが大変でしたでしょう。
神戸の折にも切断機や溶接機を車に積んで助けに行くというのを、若くない私共が行ったら
かえって足手まといになるからと必死で止めました。
ここの対策はよく出来ていて水、電気も十分ですしスタッフも一生懸命です。医者もいるし
その上キシュさんもいてラッキーでした。イロナさん他ハンガリーの方々はＴＶで悲惨な状態を
見て、切符を二枚手配するからすぐちよさんとハンガリーへ戻れ、と何人もから電話が来ます。
あなただけ早く帰って、と言わないところがハンガリー人らしいです。おそらくキシュさんは
ナンドールに対しても私への責任を感じて下さっているのでしょう。
1956年の革命（ハンガリー動乱）はじめ、幾つかの理不尽な体験をしている人々は、「Dear friends」の絆が強く、危機に直面した時の「同志的助け合い」にスイッチが入るのかも知れません。私たちも頑張らなければなりませんね！！
